Bath Time
When its time for the first bath once the umbilical cord has dried up, fallen off and healed and your baby boy's circumcision is all healed up, you no longer have to bathe your baby with a warm wet cloth.
Some mom's prefer to use an insert in the bath tub, but others are recommending using the insert in the kitchen sink or a small newborn tub until your baby gets a little older. This makes it a lot easier to reach you baby comfortably while cleaning her. A good insert will usually have a nonslip liner that will help to keep your baby in perfect position.
You should also use a baby safe cleanser for your baby's skin, but not every day. Every other day or every couple days should do. The change to using a mild cleanser should only be when your baby is eating solid foods and can actually play outside and get really dirty.
Most babies find the warm water soothing so many parents enjoy bathing before bedtime.
