Standard Single Strollers
The single standard stroller is usually what many new parents pick out because it is the traditional type of stroller their parents had with them and so on.
The single standard strollers have features such as: baskets, double-swivel wheels, many reclining seat options and padded seats.
They are heavier and bulkier than lightweight strollers but are more common. The standard stroller can also be called push chair or a full-size stroller in certain areas.
Many times, you can use the standard stroller until the child is about three to four years old. Some standard strollers are not recommended for newborns since there is a lack of head support.
Weight, Reclining Seat and Portability
Most standard strollers or full-size strollers can hold a child up to forty pounds. These strollers are the heaviest out of all the single strollers because they are big and bulky. They can weigh anywhere from twenty to thirty pounds.
Standard Strollers usually fold flat since they are wide and can be folded with one hand most of the time. Make sure your stroller seat reclines all the way back if you are using this stroller for a newborn.
Since these strollers are heavier than some others they are not the most convenient to travel with. Especially if you are traveling to other countries, you might want to choose a jogging stroller that has bigger, smoother wheels made for activity.
